Broadband switch from o2/be to Sky, just broke my internet connection, but an easy fix
After last year's purchase of o2/Be broadband by Sky, I was expecting changes at some point. It looks like they switched my internet connection over last night. I got an email from Sky, and a txt message, but the first thing I noticed this morning was that my internet connection wasn't working.
So I logged onto the Router's wed interface, accessible locally via http://o2wirelessbox.lan and saw...
So it looked the the "O2_ADSL2plus" was disconnected, which was new. But though I should be able to connect the "O2_ADSL", so clicked the "Connect" button next to that and was back online...
So at least I was back online, and the connection issue was fixed.
Out of curiosity, I ran a broadband speed check, and it seems to be a fair bit slower than it was. Previously I got 11.85 Mb/s down and 1.18 Mb/s up, and now I get 8.50 Mb/s down and 0.50 Mb/s up. So that's not great really.
