Honda FRV belt, to bypass the a/c
The Air conditioning pump on our Honda FRV has seized up. Since we never use the A/C, looking at getting a new belt that circumvents the A/C pump/compressor wheel.
The original belt is about 1767mm long, and one avoiding the a/c cog would be 1393mm. It is a 7pk belt, but maybe a 6pk would do, as there would be less load on it.
So, instead of spending £500-800 fixing the AC that we never use, should be able to bypass it with a new £15 belt.
The part number seems to be "(number of ribs)pk(length in mm)" so a 7PK1393 is a 7 rib 1393mm long belt.
Maybe a Gates 6PK1395 or a 6PK1393 would do it, though a 7PK1393 would be ideal.
Will add any updates.

Chromecast USB cable is power only
An odd thing I've noticed, the USB cable that comes with a Chromecast dongle is power only, and does not support a data connection. So, in a true sense, it is not a USB cable, just a power cable with USB fittings. It is a shame they don't mention this on the Chromecast What's in the Box page.
